Lumious Dream is an original, Melodic rock band with progressive influences. The core of the band, Andy Shea and Roni, arranges the vocal melodies and lyrics along with the music. Creative input is also taken from members and additional members, which result in a unique sound, like no other band. The music ranges from moody soft acoustical themes, to hard driving progressive rock.
The Band has been playing together for 5 years. Recently the band has appeared numerous times on the T.V. Show "Sessions" in San Luis Obispo, CA. The band has been filming the video to "Shoreline" in Kauai as well as performing and promoting on KKRC, Kauai, HI. The debut CD titled "Next Autumn" was featured on 95.5 KLOS in Los Angeles. The song "Silhouette" from that CD also placed number 3 in Rock City News's "Top 10 Local Demos". Many performances in Los Angeles at top clubs have showcased the bands precise musicianship and showmanship. The band has finished recording their upcoming CD "Glow From A Peridot" which consist of 10 songs in full album length featuring melodic keyboards and odd-time signatures with intelligent and meaningful lyrics and impressive vocals with the unique style of singer and ASCAP songwriter, Veronica "Roni". Andy Shea creates the musical backdrop of arrangements and ideas. Rick Weed has recently joined Luminous and is currently working with the band on new upcoming project yet to be titled.
The band promises many more future recordings and videos. The CD of "Glow From A Peridot" is now available and independently produced by Luminous" as they have invested in their own studio (Cat Land Studio ) for many more future recordings. Luminous is quite ready to take a new and exciting approach to the music of the future.
